Cynthia Lindeman M.A. became a full-time writer in less than a year. This was preceded by lots of internal work and shifts – and enabled by lots of support. That’s why she’s passionate about helping writers gather strength and deep dive into their own dreams, experience and true voice. She’s coached clients from all over the world and in her small hometown of Asheville NC and she’s been featured in places like ABC, NBC and CBS. She’s currently ghost-writing a memoir and book proposal. And, two days a week, she writes her own book. She writes about shame, estrangement, longing and grace, about that mysterious place where poetry veers into violence and love. She’s currently studying with Mark Matousek, the best-selling author of Sex Death Enlightenment.

Her coaching work is an innovative blend of intellectual rigor, science + soul, truth-telling, and devotion to transformative beauty. She’s the creator of the Time Alchemy™ Program suite and The Resonance Method™, a 5-minute writing routine that leverages the power of the nervous system to effortlessly clear blocks.

She was a 2014 Breadloaf Writer’s Conference Ronna Jaffe Scholarship nominee for poetry. She’s been honored to study with notable American poets Vievee Francis and Katherine Soniat and she guest edited the University of North Carolina at Asheville’s Fall 2014 issue of The Great Smokies Review.

As a freelancer and content writer, she specialized in writing long-form profiles of writers, creative, and artists and published articles, profiles, and interviews in places like Poet’s Market, Elephant Journal, The Great Smokies Review, and The Laurel. Her article 101 Resources To Take You From Stuck To Unstoppable went viral and was named a BEST OF 2014.

Her creative bucket list includes writing a play; collaborating on a documentary about the fascinating world of placentas; writing an award-winning book of poems; talking to Liz Gilbert on her podcast Magic Lessons; and creating Dear Writer, an open source multi-media project for writers to share how they feel about writing anonymously.

She lives with her daughter, partner, and Zenyu “the healing dog” in North Carolina. She amuses herself by chasing conversations, defying expectations, dancing, and laughing as much as possible. She believes your biggest act of creativity is your life.
